Junior Manager Controlling (m/f/d)

In the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games Full-time / 40 hours per week / limited with a reason in kind until late summer 2025.

The position is located in the Finance & Administration department. As a Junior Manager Controlling, you are the contact person for all planning processes and workflows, ensuring that the company's reporting is consistently communicated to all relevant stakeholders and that deadlines are met.

We would entrust you in particular with the fulfilment of these tasks: 

  • Further development of existing reporting systems

  • Preparation and enhancement of analyses and statistics, as well as participation in financial reports

  • Administrative support for liquidity calculation and planning

  • Collaboration in the preparation of interim and utilization reports for public funding agencies

  • Internal point of contact for planning matters and advising employees on financial administrative issues

  • Processing, execution, and monitoring of payments

  • Collaboration in the preparation of interim and utilization reports for public funding agencies

  • Participation in the development and optimization of processes

  • Collaboration in the preparation of decision templates and documentation of processes

You bring the following skills & knowledge with you: 

  • Completed degree in business administration or a comparable education

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong affinity for numbers and a deep understanding of business contexts

  • Ideally, some initial professional experience, a commercial apprenticeship, or relevant internships or student work experience

  • Open and communicative nature that allows you to quickly integrate into the team

  • Proactive and structured approach to work

  • Proficient in Excel and interest in financial software solutions
