32 years old, lives in Bergisch Gladbach, works everywhere - loves sports, fishing and coffee.
He has been working as a freelance photographer since 2016. Born and raised in Magdeburg, he discovered his passion for photojournalism at an early age, which he deepened with a B.A. degree in his home city. In 2013, he gained valuable international experience during an internship at The Tennessean in Nashville, USA, before working as a photo trainee at Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa) from 2014 to 2016.
His expertise as a sports photographer spans participation in the Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships. Lukas has created stunning sports photography for well-known associations and brands, which has been used in sports coverage and marketing campaigns.
He has been recognised with numerous prestigious photography awards, including the 2017 First Prize in the "Single Sports" category at the Istanbul Photo Awards.
