To strengthen our team, we are looking for the next possible date for a  

IT Service Manager (w/m/d)

In the implementing company of the Rhein Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games Full-time / 40 hours per week / fixed-term contract with a reason in kind until late summer 2025.

We would entrust you in particular with the fulfilment of these tasks: 

  • Central contact point for management and staff for all questions regarding the implementation and use of all IT applications

  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders (project sponsors, technology partners and service providers)

  • Providing layer 1 support to team members

  • Documentation of weekly meetings with the CTO and the service provider

  • Documenting all incidents via the service desk

  • Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software

  • Creating user accounts and performing access control

  • Performing diagnostic tests and troubleshooting procedures to optimise computer systems.

  • Documenting processes

  • Manage all equipment orders

You bring the following skills & knowledge with you: 

  • University degree

  • Extensive experience in IT administration

  • Skills in optimising the performance of the IT infrastructure

  • Well structured, conceptual and networked thinking, strong hands on mentality

  • Persuasiveness, assertiveness & organisational skills coupled with high emotional intelligence

  • High degree of flexibility and an engaging manner

  • Communication skills (also in German)
