Manager Accreditation (m/f/d)

In the implementing company of the Rhine Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games. Full-time / 40 hours per week / fixed-term contract until late summer 2025. 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accreditation Manager (m/f/d) (Client services) to join the team. The candidate will the support senior accreditation manager and work on planning and rolling out the registration of all client groups on the online platform.

To be successful in this role, you will need to build close working relationships internally with other Functional Areas, and externally with clients, stakeholders and partners, from an early stage. One of key parts of this position will be education, both internal and external on the registration platform used, designing, and delivering manuals and workshops.

The following tasks are the main focus of your work:

  • Management of the planning, development, and execution of an Accreditation processes for Workforce, Delegations, Guests, and other Client Groups

  • Developing the Accreditation matrix and correctly define functions and assign privileges

  • Management of the end-to-end Accreditation process for Games participants supporting the accreditation system configuration and testing as required

  • Working closely with FISU on establishing processes and timeframes for international client groups

  • Direct engagement with internal and external stakeholders to secure an efficient communication channel

  • Developing registration procedures, application forms, manuals, and related documents

  • Managing accreditation flow in the Welcome Centre area and work closely with other Functional Areas to facilitate a smooth arrivals period

  • Training and leading a team of junior managers

  • Delivering top level customer service during the arrival period

  • Onsite issue resolution in a calm and approachable manner

You bring the following skills & knowledge with you: 

  • Degree in Sports Management, Event Management, IT, Data Management or similar

  • Strong skills in database management

  • Friendly and approachable with the ability to prioritize workload

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Great communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel

  • English (fluent), German (desirable), another foreign language desired

  • Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines
