To strengthen our team, we are looking for the next possible date for a
Projectmanager Culture (m/f/d)
In the organizing committee of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games Full-time / 40 hours per week / a fixed-term position justified by the duration of the project until late summer 2025.
The position in OC is responsible for the planning and implementation of the supporting program before and during the event and works closely with the Culture & Non-Sports Events departments.
The following tasks are the main focus of your area:
Independent planning, support and implementation (organization, implementation and follow-up) of projects in the area of the supporting program (in coordination with culture & non-sports event) of the event
Correspondence with partners & cultural departments as well as municipal structures and support in the integration of regional cultural partners as well as national partners (e.g. universities, associations, clubs etc.)
Research & acquisition of cooperation partners for the non-sports sector
Management and interface coordination with internal departments and external service providers
Creation of requirement profiles for technical implementation
Project management for the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 framework program
Budget planning and control for sub-projects and negotiations with third-party service providers
Preparation of tender documents, specifications and price comparisons, as well as creation of procurement notes
Processing documents in Office 365 for the preparation of templates & implementation of documents for external communication (Word, presentations)
Preparation and organization of project meetings, presentations, documentation and evaluation of discussions in coordination with the Project Managers Culture & Non-Sports Event
Crew planning
You bring the following skills & knowledge with you:
At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of communication/ project management in the sports/ cultural and / or major event context
Interest, fascination and understanding of the areas of sport/culture and major sporting events/ festivals
Understanding of major sporting events/ festivals
You have excellent MS Office skills
Quick comprehension, strong communication skills, creative drive
Open, friendly working style and enjoy teamwork
Independent, structured and creative way of working
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Independent management and coordination of project participants
Economic and commercial mindset
A feel for sporting, cultural and / or digital trends
Ideally knowledge of cultural and sporting developments and partners in the Rhine-Ruhr region
