Senior Manager Internal Communication & Onboarding (f/m/d)

In the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games Full-time / 40 hours per week / temporary with a reason in kind until late summer 2025.

The position is located in the Office Management area. As Senior Manager Internal Communication & Onboarding, you will be responsible for internal communication, onboarding and all team activities before and during the event.

The following tasks are your main focus: 

  • Responsibility for the design of internal employee communication

    • Creation of newsletters

    • Creating and sending invitations to staff events

    • Creation of staff information on current topics

  • Responsibility for on-boarding new employees

    • Designing on-boarding communication

    • Assisting with workplace set-up

    • Designing the first working day of new employees

    • Supporting the onboarding of international colleagues, especially in the visa process and in finding accommodation

  • Planning and organising staff and team events

  • Responsibility for organising staff anniversaries and gifts for staff on birthdays or other occasions

  • Contact person for employee concerns and enquiries in cooperation with the Human Resources department

You bring the following skills & knowledge with you: 

  • Completed academic university studies in the fields of business administration with a focus on human resource management, communication management or intercultural human resource development or comparable degree.

  • Relevant professional experience in the field of internal communication, team building and onboarding

  • Experience in onboarding international staff

  • Well structured, conceptual and networked thinking. Strong hands on mentality

  • Systematic and solution-oriented approach

  • Sensitivity to the needs of the participants

  • Persuasiveness, assertiveness & organisational skills

  • A high degree of flexibility and an obliging manner

  • Very good command of English
