To strengthen our team, we are looking for the next possible date for a
Senior Manager Medical Services (m/f/d)
In the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games Full-time / 40 hours per week / temporary with a reason in kind until late summer 2025.
The position is based in the Sports division. As Senior Manager:in, you will make a significant contribution to the successful execution of the event. It is planned to take over tasks in the area of anti-doping in addition to the content in the area of medical services at the beginning. From 2024, the anti-doping area will be covered by another person in the OC.
The following tasks are your main focus:
Technical and organizational management of the Medical Services department (athletes)
Development, creation and implementation of the medical concept for the sports involved in RR2025, taking into account the international federation specifications, the FISU specifications and the overall concept of the event
Planning of all necessary requirements and processes in the area of medical services
Internal coordination with other departments (Venue Management, Competition Management, Accomodation, Safety & Security, etc.) for the planning of the Medical Services area for athletes as a staff position in the Sports Team
Independent preparation and processing of contract and contract award documents in cooperation with internal departments
Preparation of time schedules and flow charts
Organization, execution and follow-up of meetings and appointments in connection with the Medical Services department
Coordination with and control of service and cooperation partners and service providers (e.g. hospitals or medical service providers)
Budget responsibility and control for the Medical Services area
You bring the following skills & knowledge with you:
A completed academic university degree (master's or university diploma) ideally in the field of health/medical management, sports science, sports/event management or comparable training
Experience in the implementation of events, ideally in competitive sports
Knowledge of sports structures
Experience in processing requests for proposals and contract award content
Proven experience in project management
Experience in coordinating, managing and controlling service providers
Good knowledge in the use of Office-365
High degree of flexibility and willingness to work hard
Friendly and open manner, ability to work in a team
Pleasure in working independently
Very good organizational skills
Very good knowledge of German and English
