To strengthen our team, we are looking from July 1, 2024 for a  

Working student Communication/Media Relations and Marketing/Promotion (m/f/d)

In the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games
Half-time / 15-20 hours per week / limited with a reason in kind until late summer 2025.


The position is in the field of Communication and Marketing department. As a member of this team, you will be significantly involved in the communication of the World University Games.

We would entrust you in particular with the fulfilment of these tasks: 

  • Supporting the various tasks involved in the preparation and implementation of communication and marketing

  • Support in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of promotional activities

  • Support in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of media relations and PR activities

  • Communication with service providers and partners

You bring the following skills & knowledge with you: 

  • Enrollment at a college/university/vocational school

  • Preferably a degree in marketing, communications, sports and event management or sports science

  • Ideally initial experience in the above-mentioned areas

  • Ability to work independently and autonomously

  • High level of sociability, service orientation and ability to work in a team

  • A structured way of working with quick comprehension and organizational skills

  • Creativity and initiative

  • Good written and spoken German and English skills

  • Confident handling of social networks (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)

  • Very good IT skills (including Microsoft 365) and technical understanding

  • Enthusiasm for sports, music and events

We are a young & growing organisation in the heart of the Rhine Ruhr Innovation Hub. In the OC, you will play a leading role in the successful planning and implementation of the Games.
