Deadline for media accreditation extended to 1 July
From 16 to 27 July 2025, the Rhine-Ruhr region, together with Berlin, will host one of the largest multi-sport events in the world. Around 8,500 top student-athletes and officials from up to 150 countries will compete in 18 sports - a unique opportunity for media representatives to bring exciting stories and outstanding performances from the heart of the Rhine-Ruhr region and the German capital to the world. The deadline for media accreditation has been extended until 1 July 2025.
The Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU Games are the biggest multi-sport event of the year in Germany and offer much more than just sporting competition. In addition to a top-class international field of student-athletes, you can expect a multi-faceted major sporting event that combines sport, science, music and culture.
Accreditation via online form
Please use the media accreditation form for your accreditation. The media accreditation is required by anyone conducting onsite media coverage of the event in the form of storytelling, news reporting, photography, videography, broadcasting, etc. This includes media professionals such as:
Written press (news agencies, magazines, newspapers, online media)
Photographers
Non-Rights-Holding Broadcasters (the TV and radio companies who are engaged in producing video news highlights)
Media departments of institutions (such as sports federations, sports clubs, venues, host cities, universities, partners)
Content creators/Bloggers
Please note that Rights-Holding Broadcasters will need to apply through a separate form to obtain media accreditation.
