The Spring HOD Meeting is an important milestone in the preparation phase of the FISU World University Games. It is delivered by the Organizing Committee of each event to help the delegations prepare for their participation. The Spring HOD Meeting will include tours and inspections of the competition venues. A draw for team sports will take place too. Delegations will also be offered a first taste of the region accompanied by cultural activities.
Around 400 people are expected to attend. These will include the Heads of Delegation of the participating nations (up to three representatives are possible), the FISU Family led by President Leonz Eder, representatives of national and international sports federations, members of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 Organizing Committee and future hosts of the FISU World University Games as well as other groups such as volunteers and media representatives.

This event will take place in Düsseldorf, where the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games Organizing Committee has its headquarters. Further planning for the FISU Games is well underway and the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 team is looking forward to welcoming delegations from around the world in the Rhine-Ruhr region.
