Born in the northern Ruhr region town of Recklinghausen, only 50km from Duisburg, the 26-year-old embodies the motto of the FISU Games: 'Alle spielen mit' (everybody is all-in).

Querbeat

Querbeat first gained recognition as a carnival band. The group from Bonn performed a lively mix of traditional carnival songs alongside pop and samba rhythms. Since the 2010s, the band has also released their own singles, including tracks such as 'Colonia Tropical' and 'Nie mehr Fasteloved'. In 2016, they launched their debut album 'Fettes Q', which helped them gain popularity beyond the carnival scene. Since 2017, Querbeat has been touring regularly, filling large venues not only in Germany but also abroad.

Montez

In 2020, Montez celebrated his breakthrough with the single "Auf & Ab." The track was awarded multiple platinum certifications and catapulted the rapper to the top of the German singles charts. Ballads like this have since emerged as his specialty. In 2023, his album "Liebe in Gefahr" reached number one on the German album charts and was accompanied by a major headline tour. Additionally, he gained popularity through his participation in "Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert."
