Stylish Kick-Off: Volunteers Celebrate Uniform Reveal at Rhine-Ruhr 2025 Launch Event
Now it’s getting real! At the big Volunteer Kick-Off for the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games in the Grugahalle Essen, the moment everyone had been waiting for finally arrived: the first look at the official volunteer outfits.
During the “Uniform Reveal,” the Long Term Volunteers energetically and proudly presented the full set – shirt, pants, jackets, backpack, and cap – to enthusiastic applause. The excitement in the hall was palpable: at last, the roughly 10,000 volunteers from around the world know what they’ll be wearing this summer during the Games.
The new uniform was a big hit – stylish, sporty, and ready for action at one of the world’s largest multi-sport events. The reveal was undoubtedly the highlight of an afternoon filled with great vibes, music, and a high-profile talk session featuring partners like WestLotto and Andrea Milz, State Secretary for Sports and Volunteering in North Rhine-Westphalia.
A live feed to a parallel event in Berlin added to the goosebumps and created a true sense of unity. The verdict: a successful and inspiring start to the volunteer program – and the perfect preview of what’s to come in July.
