As a volunteer, you will receive lunch or dinner to keep you energized throughout the day. Please take note of the following guidelines regarding meals and catering services:
Each volunteer is entitled to one meal per shift at the designated catering areas. In case the shift is longer than 9 hours, you are entitled to have another meal.
Your mealtime will be in your shift break that day. The break can take place in the beginning, during or at the end of your shift.
Make sure to take your break at the assigned time to ensure smooth operations.
To receive a meal, you will need to have a shift designated on that day and be checked-in by the volunteer team on site.
Each venue will have designated catering areas where volunteers can enjoy their meals.
To access the catering area and receive your meal, you need to have been checked-in at the check in desk or volunteer center at your assigned venue.
If you are not located at a venue that has a catering area, you will receive vouchers that can be used in multiple shops and restaurants. The vouchers will be distributed at the beginning of each shift.
For you to locate your specific catering area please read the information on Volunteer Centres to find your catering area and where you can access it.
