The conference takes place as part of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games and brings together people from all over the world to talk about important topics for the future - from sustainability to mental health in sport. As a co-host, you will be part of the team on stage, actively shaping the programme and guiding the audience through the content.

You will be accompanied by Domitila Barros - entrepreneur, activist and Miss Germany 2022. Before the event, there will be a dress rehearsal on 16 July 2025 in Bochum as well as several digital preparation meetings. Accommodation and catering will be provided during the conference days. You will also receive a certificate of participation, a conference package with merchandise and two tickets for the closing concert of the FISU World University Games - and of course lots of exciting impressions and new contacts.

What should you bring with you? You are between 18 and 27 years old, studying or in training. You have an interest in social issues, particularly relating to sport, sustainability and mental health. Some experience in moderation is an advantage, as are good language skills - as all moderation takes place in English.

If this sounds interesting to you, please send us your application by email to conference@rhineruhr2025.com by 30 May 2025 at the latest. We look forward to receiving your CV, a short letter of motivation (maximum one page, in English) and a short video (1-2 minutes, also in English) in which you introduce yourself and present a short moderation sequence - ideally matching the theme of the conference.

If you have any questions, please get in touch. Maybe we'll see each other on stage soon.

More information about the contest is available here.
