Park Festival in Essen: Impressive Line-Up is complete

While the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games focuses on a world-class level in sports and science, the Grugapark in Essen transforms into cultural and festival grounds. From July 21 to 26, visitors can expect a diverse open-air programme featuring live music, outdoor cinema, entertainment, and international flair. The complete programme has now been announced.

Musical Kickoff with Glockenbach and Alle Farben

The Park Festival in Grugapark starts on 21 July with a musical highlight: Glockenbach opens the evening, followed by Berlin star DJ Alle Farben, who will captivate the audience with his chart-topping hits and thrilling beats.

Adventure on the Big Screen: European Outdoor Film Tour

On 22 July, Grugapark Essen turns into a unique open-air cinema: The renowned European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT) brings impressive stories of adventurers and extreme athletes to the big screen - visually gripping and emotionally touching.

Indie Meets Energy: JC Zeller and Leoniden

23 July is for indie fans: DJ JC Zeller starts with current club hits and throwbacks in Grugapark, followed by the celebrated Leoniden, whose energetic performance will make everyone want to dance.

Emotional Show: Wilhelmine and Michael Schulte

24 July is dedicated to pop music: Wilhelmine impresses with a strong voice and touching songs. Following this, Michael Schulte - known for his Eurovision Song Contest hit "You Let Me Walk Alone" - will make for special memories and a poignant finale. Ideal for the whole family.

Stage for Diversity: Container Stage as a Creative Hotspot

Throughout the Park Festival, a Container Stage will feature a diverse programme of local newcomers, DJ sets, dance performances, as well as sports activities and numerous partner booths encouraging interactive participation - a lively place of creative diversity and spontaneous discoveries, all without prior registration required.
