Sportpark am Hallo Stadion

As the venue for the qualifying rounds in archery, the leafy surroundings of the Sportpark Am Hallo really hits the target. Located five kilometres northeast of Essen city centre, the ‘Am Hallo’ athletics stadium was completed in 2001 and offers a comprehensive range of facilities for sports enthusiasts, including a six-lane 400m track and an eight-lane 100m track, field athletics amenities and a grass sports pitch for football. With seats and standing places for 3,800 spectators, the stadium is the regular home of the Essen athletics team LT Stoppenberg e.V., as well as the Assindia Cardinals American football team. Bows and arrows are nothing new around here, however; the venue already hosted the European Archery Championships in 2024.
